I can't stand backstabbers in the first place. They are probably some of the worst people out there. To have someone tell you something to your face and then turn around and do the opposite to you... When you eventually find out what happened you can't help but be disgusted. I know that's how I am with backstabbers.
I've had people in my past stab me in the back and I did not take it lightly. In my world, you don't do that to someone you're supposed to be friends with or care about. I did what was necessary to erase them from my life. I just could not keep people like that in my life and live with myself.
Most of the people who stabbed me in the back I look back at and wonder why I didn't see it sooner. Why didn't I see what they were doing a lot earlier than when I did. Then when I asked myself those questions I came up with an answer. They were involved in my life long enough for me to learn a lesson from them. After me learning that lesson, I dropped them quicker than a sack of potatoes. I realized then that I didn't want people who were capable of that type of garbage involved in my life. They became unworthy to be my friend.
I honestly do not think I could ever tolerate a backstabber as a friend if I had to. There would be the constant reminders of what they did to undermine our friendship and I do not think I could handle that. I would rather not have to deal with the suspicion of what they are doing now to hurt me more than they already have.
I'd much rather have a real friend in my life than one who was pretending just so they could get something out of me or use me for some reason. I believe I'm a good person with a loving heart and for someone to just stab me in the back for that... It's a major insult to me as a human being. Therefore, that's is why I made the decision and I did it quite a few years ago to keep the good people involved in my life and get rid of the people who hurt me.
So, in conclusion, that is why I would rather not like a backstabber as a friend. I'm very selective as to who's going to be a part of my life and who is not. Backstabbers, liars, cheaters just do not do anything to deserve any attention from me.
Thanks for allowing me to share. xx

I wont! And if he's my true friend he wont betrayed me or backstab me. A friend is someone who you can trust.

true, true, true I have, in the past, tolerated many backstabbing friends, but now that I'm older...I try to stay away. It's just too much drama. I have enough of that without someone doing it on purpose...lol.
