I would like to know how you all think about HIV/AIDS patients

It's good to hear that you have compassion for these patients. The best thing that you can do is to educate yourself and then others around you about the disease. HIV and AIDS does not need to be feared by those working with the patients in a hospital setting. All hospital employees know how the disease is transmitted and are well-trained to avoid exposure to blood. Close contact such as hugging, holding hands, helping a patient walk to the bathroom or helping them eat will NOT spread the virus. Take time to talk with the patients; they are people just as you are. AIDS patients are no different than any other patient. Do for them what you would do for a cancer patient to comfort him.

We cant say that because this disease can be transmitted easily so any close contact to the patient and your done. Its hard to command people but we must let the people know that this people need aren't dangerous. We must educated the people about this things and let them realize if they are on the situation of the patient. Then they will realize what they have done.

A very GOOD friend of mine is HIV positive and all counts looked great at his last docter's visit.YEAH! But I do know what you mean. We have been friends for a while and it took him a very long time to tel me he was infected.He was afraid of how I would take it.The first thing I thought was how bad it was becuase more than likely it will kill him one day.I immediatly hugged him after I found out.My mom has Lupus so I grew up with sickness and I know you can't get AIDS from hugging and touching.I wish every one knew that.Especially if you are in the medical profession like you.I think it is awful but the only way to stop it is through education.
