Good Discussions!!

I am seriously getting irritated here sitting in front of my laptop and seeing all sorts of crappy discussions like who is ur favorite here? kind of discussions started at such a high rate and so many one word answers for those discussions . U know what these things do they just push those few meaningful discussions on to the farther pages where people cannot see as even myself i just look at the first page on any topic. So i am not getting any responses to my really valid discussions? In spite of such a well moderated site there are some real idiots who dont know what to do and what not to do in this site. Something has to be dont in this regard before people like me get really mad at those senseless people......

No offence but I getting sick of seeing this same topic, perhaps worded slightly different, over and over again.

U r getting sick and of the same topic. Thats because it is happening again and again and i am not going to get anything by posting the same discussions with different words.

Most of us feel the same way. All I can say is you have the option of giving a (-) rating to those topics and replies.
I have built a good network of friends and some days all I do is respond to their posts. This is because I have selected people with quality posts. I do not agree with all of their opions, but that is what makes a good debate.
I suggest you do the same. Find some friends with similar interests and find some intelligent friends who view the world differently from you.
I don't even see the "top discussions of the day" sometimes because I have my own network.
I takes a little time to find these folks but it is well worth it. And it takes some of the frustration out of having to find an intelligent discussion.

That was reassuring but when i go and check all my friends posts no one seems to to do that i dont know why?

i agree. i end up going thru 10 pages at least to find perhaps 5 posts i want to respond to.
a lot of them just seem to someone copy ing from an encylopedia or news clipping. they dont really even ask a question.
i dont know what could be done about it though...except maybe moderators scanning thru the posts and deleting or banning such ppl. but i dont know what kind of overseeing mylot actually does...

It does a lot of good work and much better than many such sites but somethings have to come from within the members themselves to act sensibly.
