well, you said that you are a college student, rigth? if you are deciding to continue your studying i advice you to take the tutor if you can do that kind of job..don't try to go to call center if you want finish your study because you can't work with this two profession at the same time..but if you are willing give up your study because of some financial problem its better to apply to call center where you can earn more money as well as you can gain knowledge on this profession..

call center agent - shifting sked - salary depends if you're on intl or local assignment - can be contractual or permanent job - usually an 8 hour job tutor - usually weekends or available sked of the student - salary can be good for hourly teaching - you can do this even if you're a part timer
