Does any country need to become atomic power? why?

todays century is atomic century every country want to mke become atomic power
If atomic power is used positively so, I thing atomic power is necessary for defence now a day if you dont have atomic energy so your rivels which have atomic power captured your county and eradicate your existance
what do you thing should any country have atomic power? if yes so WHY?

I think it should, since oil can't renewable we need another option for energy. atom and nuclear reactor is one of options for create energy but it was not friendly with nature. deppend on how people manage it power can be used for human also can destroyed human.
