well, i think that any relationship can work as long as the two parties involved are commited and are really in love with each other. it can the distance and beat the odds, it's just a matter of pursuing something that the two of them want to achieve. i have seen lots of relationship, failure and successful that has passed me, and it all come down to determination, it's matter of how much are you willing to lay on the line just for the relationship to work and if you think that is all worth the reasons and the risk. purely depends on the sincerity also of both parties if they are willing to sacrifice or if they are ok with the gap that they have.
