Which is best anti viruse software in your opinion ?

Hi, I am currently using avira antivir personal classic edition. I have been using this software for over a longer period of time. Since using it, I have never experienced any problems at all with regards to the overall function and system performance of my machine. Otherwise, I am so impressed and grateful with its performance. It updates on a regular basis and can be scheduled at your most convenient time. It is very light on resources and does not use a lot of memory. Hence, does not slow down your machine. I used to use norton antivirus but it started giving problem so i had to stop using it.best antivirus i used ever is AVG-Antivirus. its more secure to use AVG although i also used Norton and Mcafee and many more. but now i am satisfied with the AVG antivirus. its absolutely free for home users and the updates are quite easily updated without so much of time. and it gives the high performance for my computer. Many a times when i am sharing something in my LAN, AVG immediately detects which type of virus is this and completey wipe out the viruses. So i would like to prefer AVG antivirus and also suggest you to use avg instead of any other antivirus.note even though we use latest and upgraded antivirus to protect our system sometimes our system get effected by latest viruses.

AVG is the best antivirus software, because it's light weight. It's not havy like Norton.

1st - norton antivirus 2nd- AVG 7.5 (free edition)

Well, some other says that Norton is the best some are McAfee or AVG. My opinion is everyday new virus is created and impossible to track every new virus that is created. I reccommend that you install two antivirus programs to your computer and make sure you update the virus signature everday. bit defender 10 is the best or NOD32 from esset. belive me these are the best. they are produced in Romania but are cheep and very usefoul.

in my opinion, the best antivirus software is norton antivirus 2006 but it must be used together with zone alarm pro. they have released norton antivirus 2007 but i have not bought it yet so i cant say how that works. if your computer is not to fast, you would prefer to use norton antivirus 2003 because that uses alot less power from your cpu. make sure to use the zone alarm pro otherwise, viruses might sneak pass the antivirus program
