How to deal with loud roommate?

I have one of my roommate who plays music loud even when i am sleeping.Even he dont care to reduce volume when i request to do him so.What can i do?

If it's just you and a roomate, You need to talk about respecting the rules of the house and times to play music loud...Maybe come up with an agreement you both can sign, If he's still not willing, if the lease is in your name, you possibly want to have legal paper work to have him evicted and start looking for another roomate...A person can take so much before there is nothing but tension in the household and that's not good for you or your roomate
