The colour represents the number of the star. Each number from 1-10 has a colour allocated with it so as to make it more easy for member to see the rating.

stars show the activity in mylot.
it is the rating system of mylot and it shows that u have been very active in mylot and higher the no. in the star higher is ur reputation .
stars r given after u reach 100 and it gets improved day by day and if u remain active over a long period and if u post quality posts i.e. u r increasing mylot profits then u will get a good rating/star and vice-versa.
colour is not holding any significance and they r just used to differentiate b/w the stars.

Thanks for this response, yesterday I was a little bit sad because I had a blue star with 5 no and it was gone, I thought blue star is something significant :-)

The star signifies the rating of what myLot users think of your comments or discussions. The little plus' and minus' next to each of your writings are where myLot users can vote how well they think that you write and how relevent your comments are!
It also signifies to other users how valid your comments are if they have never seen you before.
