In china, many girls likes to ask their boyfriends a same question, that is,when your mother and I fall into sea at the same time, whom will you rescue first? They ask so just to see if their boyfriends really love them. I am puzzled, though I am a girl.Is it OK to do so?

It is not a embarrasing question. It is in my belief is a very bad question. And it is equally bad for a girl to make a boy to choose between herself and his mother. These are two entirely different types of love. I think, a girlfriend who puts that kind of weight to a boyfriend's mind, is very selfish and does not love that boy at all. But this is what I think guys.

No, it's not. I think the love for the mother is different from the love for the wife. I think all wives should encourage good relationships with their mother in laws in order to have happy husbands. But if the mother in law is a b...ch then forget I even mentionned it.

I don't think it's fair and it's certainly not wise to put your boyfriend in that position. A person would always be more inclined to put a person they've known and loved all their lives over someone they haven't. It's a good way to put your boyfriend off, since he may always be expecting you expect him to ingore his mother. So, I think it's not a good practice.

Eeeee. I don't like this question. I think it'e distasteful to put someone on the spot and make such a decision. Perhaps you could come up with something a bit different that won't compromise your boyfriend.
