I am wary of 'farm raised seafood' which is best farm raised or wild

I always buy wild salmon, never farm raised. Same for shrimp. The reason is that I don't know what they feed them. Maybe chemicals? What about mussels, farm raised, are they safe. Let me know what you think.

yes i agree i prefer wild.the fish plant/warehouse feed their fish with what ever and raise them in a fish tank. how can they take a beautiful specie something that is natuarly grown in water and pretty much hype it a notch they need to be a shame of themselves our poor insides. our inside are going threw enough chemicals in our every day life. i think that mussels should also be wild as well i dont trust even though its a shell fish dont trust it.

I don't know about farm raised.
The problem with wild fish can be that the wild existing fish might be under threat from over fishing and there numbers need to be controlled in the wild.
Though your fears could be very right in terms of what are the farm raised ones being fed.
