which star wars episode is the best??

i saw the star wars and i liked the 1st one only. next were the exxagerated ones of it. it varies from person to person as the thinking and the tastes change and i think that i will see the other ones to confirm about the next ones.

I guess it depends if you grew up with the saga or not.. I did, I watched the films as a kid, although "Jedi" was the first I was allowed to see on the cinema, since I was only one when A new hope was released.. But my favourite is Episode IV, "A new hope". Easily. Second place... I don´t know, I think both "Empire" and "Jedi" are great. And I agree with an earlier post stating "Empire" is great since it has more depth (and darkness!!!) than the others. I understand newer fans like episodes one to three, but personally I only enjoyed "RoTS". I thought episode I was horrible, and Jar Jar almost makes me throw up a bit in my mouth, hahahaha.. But my girlfriend loves Jar Jar.. So, we are all different!

Without a doubt it has to be episode 5, the empire strikes back, as mentioned earlier it gives vader a real depth, plus it gives the first apperances of yoda and the emporor as well as showing the power of the force. It also has the greatest story line of the films and has much more grown up feel about it due to its darker side.

Well I saw the original 3 at the movies. To me those are 1,2, and 3 and the prequels are 4, 5, and 6 but I know order wise it's not so. My favorites are Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Those two I love to watch. Then it would be Phantom Menance. I admit Revenge of the Sith was very good and it's up there in the tops list but I have a soft spot for the other two. I think because I have watched them so much.

I like episode 2, 3, and 6. I like the first two because I can see Yoda fights:P

of course the episod 3....revenge of the sith..

return of the jedi is my favorite. i've seen them all and i love them all, but i'd have to say thats the one i like the most.

Episode 5 the Empire strikes back is the best of the 6. It shows Darth Vader's depth of character and gives you the insight into his motivation. He is not just a souless evil doer and actually has a plan and is willing to follow through with it. Plus the bad guys kick some serious butt which you never see anymore.

the best movie of the saga is after me" episode 3- revenge of the sith".. i even cried at it belive it or not:P.. i loved the story...it was a sad one..the "birth" of darth vader..but he is non the less my favorite character

Episode 6 : Return of the Jedi is my favourite one though Episode 3 : Revenge of the Sith is a close second.

even ill agree...revenge of the sith is the best part in the series... that is out of all 6... ultimate story build up... truly a cult saga... it is a genre by itself...

I think that the episode five is the best. I love Star Wars saga but i think that the 1-2-3 episodes are too based on graphics.
