I live practically with my mom for 18 years... and she's the one who raised us up. So, I am close with her. When I was young, I used to thought that she doesnt love me as much as she loves my bro. I argued a lot with her, did things that weren't gud. Now that I have grown up, and live oversea.. I started to realise.. she has the same love to all of us in different forms. It's not the action that justifies her love for all of us, but it's the love itself. Looking back, she has done a lot of things for us. She cares for us, and she did everything she could to give us a proper life. She still do. I admire her much... and I miss her much as well.
As for my dad, he didn't contribute much in my life. However, nowadays I keep in touch with him. One of the main reason is because he is paying my tuition fees for my college. Even though he is paying for our college education, we have lost a father figure during our childhood and that's the fact that can't be denied. I moved on with my life, and I accept his offer cuz I dun wanna burden my mom with the fees as she has a lot of things to worry about. However, my lil bro doesnt seem to forgive him, or so I assumed. For me, what has happened in the past is in the past. I am opening a new chapter in my life with my dad in it. No matter what has happened between him and my mom, it's their problem. I can't just butt in as if I know everything and cut him off my life. Yes, he has abandoned us, but he is still our father. I found it hard to forgive at first, but eventually I choose to forgive cuz that makes things a lot easier for me than living in a hatred.
Anyway... my mom is the best gift from God ever for me =).

I love my parents. However, I have to say I am more close to my mother, having made me dinner and drove me everywhere. All the talks I have had with her during the car rides.
My dad, has always been there for me and I always talk to him about everything but I just feel my mom is around more.

Neither one. They both hated me and told me so as often as they could. That did a lot for my self esteem growing up. I was glad they divorced when I was only 10. At least it took some of the hatred out of the house.

Well if there is a question that who do I love most then I can select anyone because I love both of them equally but it is the question of attachment then I select sometime mother and sometime father. It depends on situation.

on my age right now, im close to both parents. But eversince i was a kid..im more of a mama's girl :) my dad don't talk to me much unlike my mom. He seems irritated to me when my age is 10-18, i wonder why??? but when i step into college, he starts interacting with me and that made me glad. Its like ive found my long lost father :)

I am defnitely closer to my mom. Growing up, I was Daddy's little girl, however I suppose due to the fact that I pretty much idolized him, I never really saw the type of person he was until after I moved out (which was basically on account of him. He took my to my boyfriend's place and it was only supposed to be for the weekend. My boyfriend lived 5 hours away from where I lived, anyway he dropped me off and that was the last I heard from him for several months). My mother has always tried to what is best for me and although I might not always agree with her, I know she is doing the best she can. She is ALWAYS there if I ever need her for anything, no matter how big or how small the problem is. She is my rock!
