Political correctness has been carried too far. But that doesn't mean we don't have to watch what we say.
There are some people for example who don't like the word "policeman" because it has the word man in it.
There is a place for political correctness, but I think for the most part it's been carried too far.
What do you think?

I agree with you now a days you cannot say anything without being on guard. With all the violence and crime and sexuality we see on t.v. now as apposed to years ago when people were not so politically correct. Which is the less of the two evils.

I am so sick of P.C. it's disgusting. You have to wonder when we began being born so thin skinned!!! I personally am offended by having to watch every word you say for fear you WILL offend others. Personally.. if you're that easily offended I think you need to find a big rock and crawl under it! And I'm sure that's not the PC way of saying it either! LOL

I think in many Cases it has gone to far.
Now One thing is that..
I always always want to work on the railroad to be a brakeman.. I get mand with people no .. Brake person because I appear female to them. It just drives me crazy... I said NO .. brakeMAN! ...
It is an title and occupation that been there for 100's of years both men and woman did.. Why say person now...
The other one is the Christmas and Holiday Cartoons...
Play the original cartoons will ya! ...
In their original form. We do not politically correct all cartoons and Media.. so why should they do it with the Christmas cartoons.. I'm sorry but I find that so annoying...
Next thing you know they will be rewriting and further fabricating history and media to the point where we forget our history.. and that means we repeat mistakes... Everyone is going to find something offensive... no matter what. That is the Nature of Mankind. .. er I mean Humanity... I don't know.. I do not mind people who are poltically correct, as long as they tolerate my political incorrectness. :) Just don't correct me please. :)
