Call Centres, Are they Here to Stay?

Guys ,In India, when we look up the newspapers for job oppurtunities we rarely come across a day when you dont see a call centre vacancy. People are in demand and those people get very decent pays according to Indian Standards.I am a Call centre employee as well and am enjoying my job. But are they here to stay? are they the answer for indias economy? can anybody who speaks English get through in a callcentre? Does it affect them in their long term health? how does it affect their family life, if at all it affects? blog on guys

They certainly are here to stay... Even i work for a call centre its the highest paying industry right now... I feel anyone who knows English can join a call centre... I totally disagree with you on the point that they affect your health, i feel that if you cant do it you should quit if you know that you aint strong enough to go through it.... And i dont think that it affects the family at all.. People should know how to andle their family matters if they cant they cant they shouldnt blame it on their jobs.... Cheers!!!!!
