What footwear (if any) do you wear at home?

when just inside our house, my family and i wear slippers to keep our feet clean and to avoid the too cold sensation from the cement floor. but our visitors when coming to our house, we allow to bring them their shoes inside. there's no big deal about it. we can clean the floor after they leave.

I usually go barefoot in the house just because it's the easiest. I will put on slippers when my feet are freezing, usually when I am at the computer. In fact, that's where I keep my slippers, right under the computer table. I don't mind if guests keep their shoes on when they come over. For one thing, we really never have guests and another reason is that we don't clean the floor often enough anyway!

I typically wear slippers around the house, but that's just because they're comfortable. I don't mind if people wear their shoes inside the house.

well i wear my havies at home. They are just so comfortable and eventhough our house is clean, i have gotten use to the fact that i have comething at my feet;)

We wear slippers in the house. Our guest leave their shoes on. People tend to look at you strangely if you ask them to remove their shoes. If they bring in anything with them, then I will just get out the hoover once they leave. I clean everyday so that is not an issue. We wear slippers because they are comfortable.

i am wearing soft slippers, just because i like them....but it also keeps warm and protects my feet...

I like to go barefoot in the summer - i find it very comfortable. In the winter I like to wear big furry slippers to keep my tootsies nice & toasty. I don't mind anyone coming in with their outside shoes on at all, doesn't bother me a bit - in fact i'd prefer them to keep their shoes on rather than having to smell their cheesy feet lol

I go barefoot when I'm at home....I just don't like wearing shoes that much. As far as guests are concerned....I would not ask them to take their shoes of....but if their shoes have mudd on them...I would ask them politely to take them off.I think it's just comman courtesy not to go into someones house with extremly dirty shoes.
