How do you explain to little kids how babies are made?

i don't know if i explained it right to my daughter. i said babies are given by God and placed it inside my tummy.
she once thought that babies are bought and worst that babies are eaten like seeds to grow inside a woman's tummy.
how would you explain it to little kids?

I recall one of my friends telling me that she told her little daughter of 5 years that first a bee stings the dad and then it stings the mom AND THATS HOW BABIES ARE BORN!lol.. Connecting such information with religion is a good idea till the child becomes of age.
