running for a seat in government?

if you were to write the qualification standards for anyone to run in public office what would they be?

The human beings more and more educated these days turn out to be more and more hypocrates !. Every one is after selfish goal and no one thinks in totality of human welfare.
Hence if an opportunity is given, I wish to write the required qualification to enter the tomb of Government to be GOOD MAN/WOMAN WITH HUMAN QUALITIES.

i know what you mean, and i understand why you feel that way. it does seem that every other official has selfish motives and neglects the welfare of the people.

did you mean poor as in financially poor? do you think that would make them better politicians because they understand the plight of the poor, having been there themselves?
