Personally I think it's a great idea for two people to live together before they get married. It is very hard for people to live in the same house, irregardless of whether you are friends or strangers. We all have different habits and things we do which will get on each others nerves and I think it is important to see if the relationship is strong enough to withstand these things. If you live together before marriage, there is no surprises afterwards in regards to how each person does things.
