I wasnt really a rich kid, but out of 3 kids total I was the youngest. By the time I got to be 10, the other 2 kids were grown and moved out, so I got alot more than them I guess. Raising 3 is alot harder than just 1. I got what I needed and most of what I wanted as long as it wasnt too dramatic. Now that I am an adult that all changed and I have to work for what I want. Boy, do I miss being a kid sometimes lol

you're lucky that you were able to get what you want. i might be unlucky for some. but i am happy for everything that i had gone through when i was still a kid.

no. we were so poor back then. i even sell native food products to our neighbors when i was like 10 years old or younger just to help out financially. my parents can't afford to give me all i want. but i find it good, too. i did not grow up to be a spoiled person. i now value my past since it's how i learned to value my present.

The only thing that I ever needed or wanted when I was a child was their love and support and their care for me and I always received that so yes I did receive everything I needed when I was young. I think that is the only thing children really want or need is to have parents care for them and love them and raise them well and teach them about life and how to be successful.

My family was really struggling when I was young. Even though we didn't have much, my brother and sister, myself included, never really thought that we were poor. The love and caring that our parents lavished upon us made us feel like we were the richest people in the world.
Now that I have my own family I'm trying to show my wife and children the same kind of love and care that my parents showed me when I was growing up.
