I have already started to plan my Valentine's festivities.
My Hubby and I take turns planning and this year it's my turn. We will probably go out the weekend after Valentines's since it falls on a wednesday. We are not able to do to much this year. We just moved to a new city and don't know to many people and must find a sitter. I have figured out where we are going but I just do not know what I want to give him as a gift.
What about you? How do you and your spouse/partner celebrate? Do you do the same thing every year?

I don't have any plans. My fiance is stationed 1400 miles away. Which makes it hard.

I don't know very many people where I live either so I won't be getting a sitter. We are going to go out of town the weekend after and take the baby with us. Probably a nice dinner and some sort of show that my daughter would enjoy too. We've come to terms with doing everything with her haha. We don't mind though. We love her just as much as each other and that's what the day is all about to us. We are renting a place with a private hot tub. So after she is asleep, that's where we will be. With champaign and chocolate covered strawberries. Sound cliche but its really what we like.

No I haven't started planning anything yet. If I left it for him to do, then it never would get done. He'd probably give me some money and jewelry or something and call it a day. I'm really not sure what I want to do. Just as long as I'm with him I don't really care.

I am not in a relationship right now, so I won't be having a lovefest. The last relationship I was in, we went out for a nice dinner and then back home where I gave him a cd of one of his favorite singers and I had balloons for him. He got me a beautiful card, with a note written by him about how he felt about me. He also got me a necklace with a heart on it. Then we danced together and well, one thing led to another. That was my most romantic Valentine's Day.
Now, even though I am single I always make preperations for Valentines Day, because my mom's birthday is on Valentines Day and her husbands is about a week after. So, as usual I have already purchased gifts for their birthdays and birthday cards, plus a Valentines Card. They usually give me a card and some candy! We eat at my place or go out or just have dessert over at my mom's. We have a good time every year.

Everyday is a valentines day if you always treasure the day you are with your partner... But valentines is really one of the best highlights of a relationship.. We celebrated the Lovapalooza in our country... I am ready for the valentines day...

hi there, me and my partner don't celebrate valentines day, but it would be nice if we did, he thinks it's nothing to worry about and doesn't come under an important day in his mind because we have been in our relationship for quite long now! :)

Yes I have also started to plan about the valentine's day. I will gift something to my girlfriend and then will go on date on a long drive to a beach and then a candle light dinner.

We don't plan ahead how we enjoy Valentine's day. Every year when the festivities arrive, we just think of some thing to spend the special moment togehter by instict. We tried to picnic at an open space on the top of our apartment. We went to movie and dined at an expensive restaurant one year. This year I suppose we would spend a whole day in the new Disney Land in our city. But we haven't reached a final decision yet.

This year, we might go watch a romantic movie. We are saving up for our wedding this december. But last year we had a fancy dinner over at a restaurant called "the patio." it's in the hilly part of the city so it was quite cold there. and all the works were there also, flowers, a band playing nice songs and good food. it was one of most memorable valentines day. and you know what, i think i'm going to suggest to my fiance the tradition that you have. i think it is one way to spice up a marriage. thanks for the idea!
