would you let your kid ride in the school bus?

If I had children I think I would rather take them to school instead of having them ride the bus. There has been a lot of issues about child safety on buses this past year and would not feel comfortable with them riding on the bus. Sometimes it has to do with the seating or lack of safety equipment, sometimes it is due to kids that are too wild and sometimes the driver can be careless. If I was married, I would have my wife take them to school if I was not able to take them myself or vice versa.

I will let my child ride in a school bus, anyway there's nothing wrong with it besides drivers from school bus are more careful now and even proprietors are careful in selecting quality and competent drivers . And besides School bus can help our child in managing there own self and not becoming dependent on us.

I would prefer to take them to school myself but unfortunately i do not have my own vehicle right now! The kids usually hope the bus in teh morning or get in with my mom who is a teacher at the same school...thank god ... lol!
