Do you think that the racist remarks against Shilpa Shetty pre-planned in 'Big Brother' to give it a hype in TV?

I believe that though not planned but they choose the contestants based on the probability of conflict.
They would not put however many people in the house thinking that they are all the same personality and will get along very well.
They want conflict and hence they choose from a wide variety fo personalities...
So planned in a way, but not to the extent of asking Jade to make racist comments.

It does make me wonder because although i know that big brother has always got high viewing figures, anyone who as seen the thing knows that it is dull and needs something to liven it up. I'm not saying that jade goody was right, certaqinly not, but i do think that the producers of the programme were probably worried about the viewing figures and so had to do something, certainly one of the recent series of Big Brother had really low viewing figures and it was debated as to whether the programme would survive in its current form or even at all.
