Myspace In My Face!

I love Myspace, but do you get these crazy people all the time wanting to add you to there friends list - all - in - your - face - then you never here from them again. Some friend! Just wait to they get their butts on Mylot and need this friend to reply to their discussion.....

I don't understand why people do this. Now I can see when bands want to add people so that they can promote their music. However, why in the world do total strangers just pick random people to add and then never talk to them again? It just seems so ridiculous to me. It's like some popularity game on Myspace.
