Do you think it was right for an airline staff to put a mother and her crying child off of the airplane? How do you feel about crying babies on airplanes?

a baby crying on an airplane is definately an irritation for those sitting around. however this is no reason for the baby and the mother to be offloaded. babys will cry that is what they do and im sure the mother was dong her best 2 soothe the child. i feel the airline should be sued and public should avoid the carrier

Thanks for the reply mishald. I agree with you. I'm not sure if others saw this on the news of not, but this actual happened. I think that the public should avoid using the airline.

I am a mother, so naturally, I would feel SO SORRY for the mother with the wailing baby. I know what it's like to be in a place with lots of people and have the baby start crying.. people looking at you like you're crazy, thinking to themselves "shut that annoying kid up" .. It's part of life, babies cry, and people have to go places, so if there's a mother on a plane and her baby is crying.. DEAL WITH IT. I'm sure that you cried when you were a baby.. and I'm sure that people wished that your mother would shut you up. That's what I think.

Thanks for the reply, however I'm not a mother and have never had any children but I'm "against" airlines throwing mothers with crying baby off the plane. Yes babies cry and yes that's a part of life, that is understood. There are some mother's that do not try to stop thier children of crying, kicking the backs of seat, throwing things, etc. But most mothers are able to amke their children mind them, and they do any and everthing they can to help the baby stop crying. Again, I totally disagree that the airline throw the mother and child off the plane.

it's irritating but we also have to understand the situation of the mother and her baby... i know the baby cannot handle the air pressure when the plane takes off or during landing, even us adults experience some air pressures in our ears... i think airlines should provide some guidelines or tips for parents bringing their babies in the plane... my mom used to let my little brother sip his baby bottle while take off, she said that this will somehow lessen the air pressure in the ears...

Thanks for the reply shobejen. You're right, babies will cry. I love what your mom did because it does help.
