Do you send your kids to private or public schools?

If you can afford to send your kids to private schools, would you send them there instead? Here in the Philippines, the quality of education in public schools is really low nowadays. Kids go only for half a day no matter what grade they are. There are at least 75 students per class room, and not even enough chairs to accommodate them... barely no books and when the kids are playing and making noise, the teachers don't bother to make them quiet. That's why I send my kids to private schools. Minimum wage out here is about 9,000pesos monthly, and private schools cost 9,000-75,000 per year. A lot of people, even the middle class, sometimes have to send their kids to public schools, it's really sad now. So to parents out there, make sure you guide your children when studying lessons at home. It can help out some.

My kids goes to private school and I a thankful for that. It's really sad how our government cannot help lift the education system in public schools. What will the children larn if they are 75 in one class. Even in private school if one child is disruptive, other children are also affected by that kids. So just imagine 2 or 3 in that 75, how would a teacher handle that???

Right now my niece, who I help raise, goes to public school. Yes if I had the money and there was a decent one around me I would send her to private school. I think the education is much better and the schools themselves are handled in a more professional way then the public schools are. I think overall it would give her a better education.

Definately !!!! Fortunatley, I could afford to send my kids to a private school. Otherwise, I would have delivered pizzas at night if that's what it took to keep them out of public schools. Today, if you send you kid to a public school, its the same as throwing them in the trash. Public schools are a zoo and have no discipline whatsoever.
