Lets all bow toward the industry leaders of the fashion world. No - wait.. Stand up, turn 180 degrees, drop your pants, bow again. The whole industry amazes me. I agree completely with your point, but unfortunately, have no answers!

I was just complaining to a friend about this the other day. I have been unemployed since July, and will be starting a new job in early March. I was trying to find some "transitional" clothes to wear, since it will be almost springtime but not quite time for spring clothes. The stores are full of totally summer clothes now like shorts, tank tops, bathing suits, and even the career wear looks too summer-like for March. I don't understand why the stores don't sell season-appropriate clothing. Even adults don't always know what size they will be in 6 months!

I hate that too. I was looking for some winter clothes for the kids back in December and all they had out were bathing suits. What the heck! I have the same problem as you--I never know what size they will be wearing during the season so I never know what to buy. When it is summer they are putting snow suits out and I want to buy a new bathing suit for one of the kids. It is so annoying.

This is a major pet peeve for me, as well. I was in the store searching for warm tops for myself yesterday. I could only find a couple of styles and they were all in clearance. Of course, none were in my size. I finally bought a couple of zippered hoodies to wear over my t-shirts just so I can be warm!

I know what you mean -- sometimes when I want to buy a coat or sweater, the next season is already out and I can't find what I need! I think the clothes for the current season should be available, but alas, I have to buy ahead too.
