Just curious what religion most of you are and if you attend church on a regular basis?
I'm Southern Baptist and I do not attend church regularly but I would like to - I just can't seem to find a church in my city that I enjoy or feel like I fit in with. I do not like really large churches, I prefer small churches where everyone knows everyone on a personal level.
What about you?

I'm Southern Baptist, too. I've always been a regular attender of church because my relationship with God is very important to me. Lately, however, we have been struggling to find a church. My son is normally asleep during the week during church time, so he is incredibly cranky at church. He also HATES to be away from me, so I have to stay in the nursery with him until he gets to know the people that work in there. Some churches have nursery workers that make it obvious they don't want me there, but I'm not leaving my 15 month old with someone I don't know! Especially since I know that he will scream the WHOLE time I'm not there. We took him to a church that my husband's friend goes to recently. The nursery workers pretty much insisted that my husband leave (he was going to stay in the nursery that day) and my son proceeded to go through every diaper he had in his bag. He was screaming the entire time, and it gave him diarrhea basically. He had 6 diaper changes within an hour! After dealing with that, I know I won't be leaving him in the nursery again until he's quite a bit bigger. There's no reason for nursery workers to make us stay out. It makes everyone miserable. I'm sure she didn't really like changing all those diapers or listening to him cry. Hopefully soon we will find a church that won't mind if I stay in there. Ideally we would like to find one with kids close to his age, too.

I'm Roman Catholic, a minority in Indonesian. However, I'm proud of it. I'll try to attend the mass regularly. Thank God, the church is not far from my place. Actually there are two Catholic churches of two different parishes close to my residence. So, I can choose one of them to attend, depends on the time that fit with mine.

When you go to church, you are doing a service for God. Making Him your priority should be your main concern. You don't attend services just so you can hear a good sermon and feel good. You do so because you want to worship God. It should matter little how you feel about your surroundings, because ultimately, the only thing that matters is whether or not you worship God with all your heart.
Naturally, part of our walk with God includes fellowship with other believers, so collective worship is encouraged. That's why we convene in church. But it shouldn't matter who you're sitting next to come worship time. What's important is that God put you there, and that you praise Him for the glorious God that He is, while having faith that there is a good reason He put you where you are now.

I am a member of the Presbyterian Church of Canada, and I attend Knox Presbyterian Church here in Guelph Ontario. I was baptized in that church, and I was lucky enough to grow up in a church which made me feel comfortable and loved.

I am a southern baptist too... and I attend church regularly... Churches are like people, they also have problems, faults, and things that does not make everyone else happy. It is important to be in church though because the Bible teaches that. I would prayerfully seak a church community... even bigger churches are good because you can join small groups and get the big church benefits with the small church feel. Just make sure the church you join is not making stuff up, that they stick with the Bible! :)
