Every time I look at the discussions here on mylot, I find people complaining about almost everything... Like this mom who'se got a son who curse her. A daughter who won't say sorry to her mom. A girlfriend who atays still to an abusive boyfriend... and almost every one blaming it to the person who did that to them... Enough of this " You damaged me." why not start blaming their selves for a change???

i am a daughter and a mom... what i'm trying to say is that almost everyone is ranting and raving but they never want to blame their selves first before they enter into a situation they knoe they could not handle. I know everyone here just wants to start a discussion just to spice things up... and probably those things we read on discussions are not real... but how about in real life??? everyone is still complaining about everything but no one wants to blame theirselves for their misery...

I totaly understand where you are coming from. But we can stop people from talking about things. they gonna do it cause they want to.

Personal accoutability is essential to growth... My children seem to be the most "disobedient" just when I am being my most selfish...Yes their disobediance, needs tending to...But so does my heart, my motives...

oh i understand what you are trying to say... but you know, most people cannot and would not bame their selves first... they would try to blame it to other people first before they put the blame on their selves... it is like self respect. if you take that away, it is like taking their dignity away...

Some people don't know how to admit that they are at fault but quick to point the finger elsewhere. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong and will admit my faults...I guess some people only focus on the others faults and not their own and that's not being fair to self one bit....

Okay, i understand where you are coming from. i have seen alot of these postings too. i think it's a little crazy myself. If would be different if they asked for advice or something along that level. I guess everyone is just trying to figure out what to talk about. There are a bunch of people on this site, and topics are running kind of short. i, myself am having a hard time trying to post questions.
