any experience using vinegar or boiling water as a method of weed control

Have used both. What happens is that what they touch burns the weed or grass they come in contact with. Something that does a better job is get a spray bottle and put some clorex in it with a little water. Pretty effective and burns everything it touches and it will die

My grandmother used the boiling water method and it works. The vinegar would work as well, but kills everything else around it.
