No i dont think if gandhiji were not there we wont get freedom, there are many other freedom fighters, but i must also have to say taht gandhiji is known for the priciple of ahimsa, this ahimsa way made to think british people about the freedom of india so he contributed a lot for the freedom fight of india so only he is called as father of our nation

GandhiJi was right peson at right place at right time. He had the courage and his own philosophy. But people like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Chander Shekhar Azaad, Subhash Chander Bose, Sukhdev, Lala Lajpat Rai were equaluy brave and with thier own philosophies. Today we remember Gandhiji More than anybody else because Congress made him more visible than others.

yes you are absolutely right .................. gandhi first asked for constitutional freedom not for complete freedom.......... but due to bhagat singh the people who are associated with him are also begin to protest him and as he is a truely politician he also asked british govt. for complete freedom. if bagat singh was not there then it is true india will not get freedom that time.

yes definately he was a true politician not the freedom fighter. he is quite diplomate person but we know him as "father of nation" and netaji.......we don't even know when is his birthday..........bhagat sigh got famous because of the media take him in spot light but in my point of view those are the true freedom fighter not those diplomate persons
