Who are the top candidates to relpace Bill Parcels in Dallas. I ahve heard several names, but do not know how mauch valisiaty there is to any. Here is a short list of the names I have seen listed. Wade Philips - Defensive Coordinator San Diego He wasn't extremely succcessful as a head coach in the past. Can't get real excited about the possibiliity of Bum's boy leading the Cowboys Norv Turner - Offensive Cooordinator Oakland Raiders Another retread that does nothing for me. Is a great link to the Cowboys past, but has been miserable as a gead coach. Jason Garrett - Quarterback Coach Miami Dolphis Now this is the most interesting name I have heard so far. Young guy obvious ties to the Cowboys. Have heard and read great things about his football mind. May be a tad young, but this seems to be the trend. See Steelers and Raiders hires. Whoever Jerry Jones hires, I hope that he allows them to run their program. The less he meddles the better chance the Cowboys have of returning to Super Bowl glory.
