I caught my sister kissing my best friend!

What is the problem? There is only a problem if your sister has a boyfriend and the best friend has a girlfriend. I don't think you should read too much into a kiss. That may be all there is a kiss. I also don't think you should put an age limit on how you feel about someone. I do think he should wait till she is 18 before there is anything physical. Sometimes a kiss is just a kiss. Wait and see what happens next. Talk to your friend and see what he says. Keep the lines of communication open because you don't want to loose your friendship.

nothing is wrong unless they both have committed to someone or if youre bestfriend already have a family..its normal

well, have you asked them what this all means? Why would it be wrong, they just kissed. ask where and if there is more to the whole kiss

I think the age is the problem. If I were you I would have a talk with your sister and best friend. Not at the same time. And see what they feel about each other. Your sister may be "in love" and your friend is "just having a good time". Either way feelings are at stake, and it's very important that you consider both their feelings. Now if they both have the same thing in mind, then let them be. If there is a difference in what the kiss meant, then I would put my foot down. I'm sure you wouldn't want to see your sister get hurt by your best friend.

those situtions sucks, i have gone through such situtions and its very unpleasing. we feel uncomfortable when that particular friend is around and same with them also...Best thing is speak with your sister and tell her it was not cool to do when u are around...anyway i don't have any solution for this hehe...sorry, wish i can help u..

I don't believe its wrong aslong the guy is not trying only sleep with your sister and leave her. Well its your best friend anyway that means you know about him more than she does so you know if he is a good guy or not besides that Kissing is not wrong if he was trying something else that would be. Well I believe if he really loves her. He will say it to you straight but if he just playing you can catch by avoiding a question like if he loves your sister.

well its your sister and still you want her to be protected to be hurt. YOu have to ask your bestfriend what is really his intention to your sister. if it is a clean intention maybe love your sister truly then its nothing wrong with kissing but you have to remind you bestfriend that dont abuse and hurt your sister and they should know their limitation. If its just only a kiss its ok but beyond that its a different story.

this is how i think of this. i was reading your first response and the answer you gave to it. yes there is a 10 year difference in age and he may not be the guy your parents would pick for her but i must say girls like bad boys. some girls are just attracted to the fact the guy has gotten in trouble or has done crimes etc. i am almost 19 years old and my boyfriend is 25 years older than me. i love him and he loves me too. so it could be worse. this could turn out to be nothing too. just talk to your sister and see what she thinks/feels and then talk to your bestfriend and find out what his intentions are. explain that you dont want your sister to get hurt and you are just trying to protect her feelings.

maybe he wanted to make you jealous..lol or maybe it was just a "friendly" kiss
