Looking back on everything you have done can you say, hand on heart that you have led a worthwhile, satisfactory life? My biggest fear is waking up when im 60 and seeing that i've left a trail of notihngness behind me. Where did it all go?
A wise person once said 'Life is like a penny, you can spend it anyway you want, but you can only spend it once, so spend wisely".

That is a wise saying. I say there is always room for improvement. I've done lots and I'm not 50 yet. Other people say I've done amazing things, but that's compared to their lives.
To me I seem to be driven by some inner voice that wants me to do better - not always a good inner voice.
But what I will know is that when I am in that rocking chair (if I get to have one) I will look back and say I did the best I could.
I think allot of people do that, reflect and are not happy with what they see.
Regret leads to disappointment, which is so depressing - eek!
Good question. I'll keep pushing onward and earn the right to be in the rocking chair with a smile.

I think I have lead a reasonable life, so far. I have had my high points and a fair share of low points.
Plenty of regrets, but that is the advantage of hind sight.
A very true saying at the end of your post!!
I can't think that you would look back on nothing in your life?
