Do you think people waste time on ORKUT?

I am using orkut since 1 year..now what i came to know about it is that, it is good for people who want to remain in contact or people who cannt meet each other but want to remain in contact..This is what it used to be..But, now what is happening is not good, students of school and colleges use it to write scraps to a person whom they meet daily or person just sitting next to his or her room and keep on doing this for hours..Don't you think they are wasting their valuable time??
