I have a list of things I printed from an email that I use when they call (and now they call my cell phone too...it's annoying). One idea says to insist it's your friend "Leon" playing a joke on you, or if it's a Kirby company, ask them if their vaccuums get out goat and human blood. Another says to insist it's your fro=iend "Lisa" and ask her about that embarassing rash she has...the list goes on! Trust me, they don't know what to do when I say stuff like that. Oh ya, another good one is if a credit card company calls, say, "boy am I sure glad you called me! no one else will gimme a credit card and I sure could use a shopping spree at the mall right about now. Does bankrupcy hurt my chances?"

I politely tell them that Im not interested. I used to work as a telemarketer and know what it feels like to get hung up on and cussed at all the time. and all of the "funny jokes" that people think they are pulling we have all heard a million times and we just roll our eyes and go on to the next person. You have to remember that the person on the other end probably has a family to take care of and this is their only means of support. They have a boss on their butt telling them to "push, push, push" and get those sales! It's a lousy job to have but some people dont have a choice.

Very true and thank you. I had one call me yesterday and I told her nicely that I would not like too. Also I call the number back to tell them to take me of the list and the number stated it was disconnected and stuf like that. Why is that?

mostly I tell them not interested and hang up after telling them not to call again
