actually either one will do as long as it would be simple, and just immediate family and some close friends. as long as it doesn't reach 50 people maximum, hehehe.

neither my husband and I are religious so we didnt get married in a church. We were married in a "lounge" room at the local university. We had it set up very nice and were able to have the reception at the same place so everyone didnt have to go to 2 different places.

If the legal requirements are present, the marriage ceremonies may be done anywhere - in the church or any public place provided the one who officiates the wedding ceremonies has authority to do so. For those who have quite an amount to spend prefer church wedding than just civil for social standards, not the legality for even if it is civil if the requirements of the law are met, the marriage is valid and legal.

i not married yet. but i always dream of a church wedding. im a catholic and i believe that marriage is sacred. there would be no divorce, no annulment. the one that i would marry would be for keeps. also, i like church wedding because its almost everyone's dream of wearing a lovely dress and walking down the aisle toward the groom in front of people you care about who's there to witness the vows you'll make. and i think its really romantic.

I got married at the local court house, just the two of us. When I look back, I do wish we had done more, but we really wanted to get married soon, but we couldn't afford anything more. If money hadn't been an object, I would have gotten married on a beach. One of our best friends is an ordained minister and he would have presided. Everyone would have been barefoot, and I would have went with a simple red and white dress, no frills or anything, not even technically a wedding dress. But alas, it didn't turn out as I dreamed. Nevertheless, I am happier than I could imagine. :)

Of course, i want to be wed in church. almost all of us want to be wed in church but most of us want to be practical and because of the status in life that they dont have enough money to be wed in church.

well i prefer church wedding than civil wedding because i believed that marriage is sacred...that a couple should exchange there vow in the house of the Lord and with the blessing of His servant...and aside of that, we girls want to walk in the aisle like princess right? that everyone will see our beauty....hehehehh....

I had a church wedding so in my experience, i should say that i really prefer a church wedding because you were bind in front of god. And the sermon that you will hear to the pries is so inspirational. thats all i can say.
