Your discussion started again by somebody else.

If you noticed that the discussion was plagiarized then it is a blatant infringement of myLot rules. You can use the "!" for the discussion and report the infraction to admin. To me, myLot is very clear on what their rules are and they are fair. There is no reason for this.

That is happening to me all the time. And if you can go back to all the discussions, you will see that your discussion was started many many months ago by someone else. It happens all the time. Up to now I have seen only 2 discussions that were really unique and most of Rolcam's discussions, about the word expansions

It really happens a lot. It has happens to me also. They cannot paste and copy your post, that you would have to turn in though. With over 50,000 members, it cannot be controled.

it has happened to me many times. i know some really do that intentionally but some were just due to honest mistake. some people like what the other user said here, may have thought of the same topic and just posted it without searching if someone has actually made the same topic. i myself just started a discussion on username. i had no idea someone started it days ago. i dont usually search for topics before i make my post because it is time consuming considering that am using a dial up connection. dont be bother if someone posts an almost similar discussion to that you posted unless it has been copied word for word or you are convinced that your ideas were stolen.

People start discussions and few minutes later other people begin the same subject... it is not very intelligent but it is lihe that... when there is money to earn that bring not only good people so don't worry if somebody start the same dicussion that you ;)

I've only posted one start up and I looked before I did. There were no other discussions that I found on the topic. Maybe a month ago there could have been. As long as they didn't copy and say exactly work for word the same thing, it should be okay.

it is alright if the discussion is being given in a perspective which is different from mine. if it is a copy paste, i will immediately report it to mylot admin. it is only proper that i do so. as for discussions with similar topics, it is okay. we can all talk about breakfast but take it from different angles. others will deal with the kinds of foods, others will be on the time that we do it, others will ask if it is a priority and then one will only think of whether we take coffee all mornings of our lives.

Hello,rassa,I think it is fine if the discussion is similar,like same topic but different way of expressing it or different wording,members will have different answers in these two discussions,but if the discussion is exactly the same as yours,he/she has violated the discussion rules and it is not ok then.You may have the right to report abuse to mylot so as to remove the copied discussion.
