do you ask your parents first before go out?

i do ask my parents permission before i go out with someone. This for make them knew where i go and with who. What about you?

I still with my parents but i don't ask permission when i go out, if i am going out i'll just tell them i'm off out and then go.

When I was over 18 and still living at home I did not ask permision but I did let them know where I was going. I never needed permision. If I said I was going out there was no problem but mom always wanted to know when I would be home. She is a worryer. I usually left a phone number if I could to put their mind at ease. This was done out of respect for them and their home. I lived for the summer at my Aunts and I even told her where I was going and when I would be home.

I used to but I have finally gotten my own place and don't have to worry about that anymore. But I always made sure I told my parents where I was going, because I know when I have children I will want them to do the same!
