How many women are married and have husbands that cook??? After they are done cooking does your kitchen look a wreck???
I love when my husband cooks but I hate the mess afterwards.

OL! Well - I am not married, but I live with my psrtner and we've been together for years. I was also marred before when I was very young - and - you are right - both of them were disasters in the kitchen! My ex didn't cook much (probably a good thing!) - but my partner now likes to try and "help" though it is more of a hindrance - the kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it afterwards - he uses every plate and pan in the house!!

LMAO!!! Isn't that the sweetest thing when they want to take initiative and give you a night off from cooking, so they cook for YOU! Then they say "well, i cooked, you clean up" and for something that would take 3 dishes (including pots and pans) for you, seems to have taken him 6 or 7!! LOL- not to mention the splatters on the back wall behind the stove, the spills all around the burner and the muck built up in the now, char-stained crumb catcher around the burners!
I am not however married, but I remember this from the man that I am with now, when we were living together. Hes an awesome cook though!

My husband is a great cook and makes all kinds of delicious meal. He tries to clean up afterwards, but I always have to do it again myself. It would seem ungracious if he sees me doing it, so sometimes I have to leave it for a whole day until he is not around before I can clean the mess.
