Referral System

Some people seem to think that because they are referred by say me, or you, that WE take a percentage of what they should have earned.
Well from what I have just read in the mylot link and faq's this is not true.
Refer gets a bonus of 25% equal to the amount that, the one I referred gets.
That means if my friend that I referred gets 1 dollar which is 100 cents, I would get 25 cents, but he would still get his fair share of 100 cents, he would not lose out, mylot pay the bonus for the referral, the friend you refer is not going to lose out.
If you don't believe me go read my lot rules, and please don't get upset if you where referred here, because I am guessing a 90% of members where referred here.
Bright Blessings.

kibito thats what I thought but I have been reading some posts that think because they are referred the referrer gets a cut of their friends possible money, I don't believe that. I have asked myLot to check this out for us and get back with something concrete :D

I think this is not something that those who join do not know. But some people do not like to see somebody else earning money, then what is the case if he knows someone else is earning for the work that he does. So there could be people who do not like to be some one's referral. I of course am happy as I can continuously say thank you to my unknown referrer, and I myself have 60 referrals here.
Someone can argue that mylot is sharing its final income with us and because of referrals our share of income decreases.

yes, i have referred a few people here. and they did get mad until i explained just why it was that i had them referred. properly explained it. to a couple over the phone.
and there was a discussion about someone feeling 'bad' that she had been referred.
i don't get that. maybe yes, it's because the other person gets money for your work.
i don't see why it's soo bad. they could probably do the same.
