Do you give tips? I do, but one time I had it.

I do, but a taxi driver oblidge me to. That I dont like so instead of giving him more tip. I lessen what I was supposed to give. Do you think I have been unfair.

No. Tips are just a token of goodwill on the part of the customer if they are satisfied with the service. Often when I pay I just let them keep the change when it's not too big an amount and I find it hard to give tips when I am obliged to do so. It's a lot easier to give when you are not asked for it.

i agree. people shouldnt expect to get tipped. its up to the customer.

I hate when somebody is asking me for a tip, if i want to give a tip i am giving a tip without he asking for it! Maybe one day i don;t have so much money, and i need those money, i am not obliged to give him tip he is receiving money with his wage...

I also hate it to be asked for tip. But I think tip is for appreciation when you get quality service or you like that person.
