My husband and I are starting our own eavestrough company. Presently, we are trying to learn everything we can about gutters. I was wondering if anyone could tell me when eavestroughs were invented, and when they started using them regularly when building houses? Did they have gutters on pioneer houses, and if so, were they made of wood? When did the manufacturers begin using metals when making gutters? As you can see, we have tons of questions. We plan to learn everything we can about gutters, so we can be the best.
