I thought the number in brackets next to your name corresponded with your posts. Mine was 101, then I made a post and it went down to 100? I'm new to MyLot so not sure how that works. Can anyone help?

Yes, the number next to your names is the number of your posting. If you have it went down, maybe it was because your post in the discussion deleted because of guideline violation of the discussion, maybe you post in which discussion which break mylot rules, so it was deleted. Don't worry because it has happened to me once.

Thanks - it went back up to 101. So is there somewhere to find out what they didn't like?

A thread that you have posted in has been deleted, but I guess you have worked that out already. I can never keep track of what my numbers are as they change all the time. I guess when you are new you are counting every one.

hey.. It works like dis first when u post in a topic that increases ur post count like u said 101. But some time later it decreases b'coz there are some special rules abt topics..So if the moderators find it irrelevent acc. to the rules they delete the topic as well as ur posts..and thus ur no. of posts decrease.. So avoid posting in such kind of forums http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx
