This is a tough one. Tammy Wynette? or maybe Patsy Cline? There were and still are many great female country singers. Rosanne Cash is a current favorite.

My "queen " was Patsy Cline as for the original queen it was Kitty Wells she was great too , but Patsy Cline was like you could listen to her sing forever,her voice and the emotions she put into her music was outstanding...
