There was a party hosted by some Tarleton State University students on Dr King Day. In the party they made fun of African Americans by dressing up in Afro Wigs, Drinking Malt Booze, and eating Fried Chicken.
There are photos of everything on www.thesmokinggun.com
The question is, do you feel it is right for the University to investigate the students? If you look at the pictures, it appears the party was in a private house and not sanctioned by the university. Should the students be punished? Or was it just people having fun and finding an excuse to throw a party?

If the party was away from the University and not done on the grounds of the University, then there is really nothing they can do.
People throw parties all the time and as long as there is nothing illegal, it is a privacy issue.
There is enough Government involvement in everyones life that people don't want every behavior public/private scrutinized all the time.
