I don't know how others call it, but we simply call it eyeball dates... for those who frequently communicate through phone, emails, forums, SMS, but have not actually seen each other.
Are you one of them? Won't you mind telling us your experiences?

I used to be until 3 1/2 years ago. I met Bruce 'online' 8 or 9 years ago. After talking for 5 or 6 years, we finally got toether. It has been a wonderful experience. We are so very happy!

Thanks for responding.
I attended an eyeball gathering twice...in different location, and with different group, all from the same forum that I am presently conencted with. And I tell you, it's fun. It's as if we already know each other. Talking about the forum and the ppl we meet there. I love going to eyeball gatherings... if only I have the luxury of time.
