Yes, most definatley, I've found the quieter someone is, the more knowledgeable they are, they aren't necessaraly academically more clever, but they know more stuff and are more savvy with the world.

I am totally agreed with you, empty vessels do make much noise just like people who dont have any knowledge and they start discussing. For eg: a farmer starts talking of studies abroad for there sons or daughters of which they will be never agreed.
