If this is something that you really want to do and will make a committment to get it done, I say GO FOR IT!! Why spend the next several years of your life at a job you hate? The average retirement age is 65 in the US, can you see yourself working at the same job for the next 28 years of your life? If the answer is "no", then do something about it. Change your life!!
Good luck!!

There is no age limit for learning and acquiring skills through knowledge imparted at educational insitution. If you feel shy to attend the classes, there is distance education system wherein you can learn through computer, notes and appear for examination.

As long as you are alive, it is never too late, especially when it comes to collage. There are 80 year old going back to school. Follow your bliss. If you really want to go back to school, go back to school.
