Do you agree that men are more intelligent than women?

I disagree. I think everyone has areas which they are stronger in than others. Personally I graduated from highschool with the highest mark in math, english and tied for second highest in french. However I did terrible in the sciences. It is just what we are more interested in that we tend to be stronger in I think. I don't think men on a whole are more intelligent than women. Some people are smarter than others that's all.

Yes men are more intelligent than women, in cooking too..

I think Men and Women think equally generally, they are neck to neck with men in terms of work, but they often do very silly things or behave very silly that make us feel they dont have brains at all

There cannot be an exact correct answer for you question. People are born with different degree or level of intelligence. Some are born geniuses, some above average, some average only and some below average. Genes and environment shape a person's intelligence. Genes and environment are the most important factors that determine the intelligence of a person. a person may be genetically has average level of intelligence but the environment he lives in is not conducive to learning, or where he lacks access to important learning materials, and here is another person who is just average as well but is living in a place or situation conducive to the development of intelligence he is going to end up more intelligent than the other person. this goes to show that genes and enviroment go hand in hand in shaping our intelligence.

I think you cannot really say that because he is a man he is more intelligent or because she is a girl she is more intelligent. Intelligence totally differs from person to person and is in no way related to the gender of the person.

no...i think it's always a case to case basis...in this age, both men and women are equal.

I think men and women excel in different areas, they are meant to that is the wonderful thing about nature.

Nope, definitely that is not the case. Why is men pick up mathematic easier than woman? Because men brains are designed to understand concrete things quickly, such as computer, mathematics, and things that are based on facts etc2. While woman brains are designed to understand a thinking kind of things such as commerce, business, economic and that kind of things. It doesnt mean one is smarter than the other, it is just different. God make all of us different so that we can complete each others :) However, woman does have the ability to multitask while man have the ability to concentrate on one things but in great details :)

I think this is a loaded question. In my house my husband is definately more book smart then I am. He is a doctor so he has many many more years of schooling than I do. But when it comes to common sense I blow him out of the water. Over all I dont thenk men are smarter than woman, I think it just really depends on the person at hand.

No, I think that men are women has the same cpacity when it comes to intelligence. Being intelligent depends on the will of a person. If he/she wants to be smart or better, it depends on his/her willingness to learn.

Men and Women are both intelligent but in a different ways and I'm agree for that. Men and women who have eqiuvalent IQ scores get to those levels of intelligence using different areas of the brain. Women have more white matter and fewer gray matter areas related to IQ than Men do. In Men, the stronges correlations between gray matter and IQ are in the frontal and parietal Lobes.

If so, why is it that most teachers and professors are women? Isn't it that teaching is a way of sharing the knowledge you have to another person? Why do men attend classes anchored by women then?
